Drip Irrigation
In the drip
irrigation system, water is applied as drops to the root area of the plant,
thus increasing efficiency and saving water.
Drip
irrigation, which is one of the micro irrigation systems; It is the process of
gradually dropping water and nutrients to the plant roots through drippers from
a small diameter pipeline made of polyethylene, which is installed just above
the soil surface or hidden under the surface.
With the
drip irrigation system, water can be applied to the root of each plant one by
one through drip pipes. The purpose of the drip irrigation system is to reduce
water waste and evaporation by providing optimum water and nutrient levels
directly to the root zone of the plant.
