Center Pivot
1- It is economical.
Compared to
all other irrigation systems, it is preferred because of its long life and low
operating and maintenance costs.
2-It saves water.
Due to its
automatic movement and controlled irrigation, it is possible to give the
desired amount of water to the desired plant at any time. Since the human
factor is minimized, it is possible to use water economically.
3-It allows irrigating the most area with the least labor.
Hundreds
and thousands of decares of land can be irrigated with 1-2 people. Hundreds of
machines can be controlled by automation.
4- It is long-lasting (25-30 years).
The
systems, which are made entirely of steel construction, become a system
protected against corrosion since their inner and outer surfaces are completely
covered with hot dip galvanized. In this way, it can be protected from the
damages of external factors for years.
5 – Hundreds of decares of land can be irrigated with the least
electrical energy (= 2.75 kw / h for 300 decares).
Since the
wheels of the machines are driven by gearmotors, they use very low electrical
energy and produce high power.
6-It is automatic.
It allows
the desired amount of water to be delivered. You can give 1 liter or 20 liter
water with the same machine. The amount of water can be changed by adjusting
the speed of the machine.
7 – It allows to make fertilizer and spraying from a single center.
In this
way, a serious saving is achieved in fertilizer and pesticide applications. It
minimizes labor.
8-It provides savings with the least fertilizer and pesticide usage.
Sensitive
application can be made with the dosing pump placed at the beginning of the
systems.
9-It allows irrigation in sloping lands without the need for leveling.
Since
Center Pivots will work at a slope of up to 15%, irrigation is provided without
the need for leveling in agriculture.
10-It is possible to irrigate all kinds of plants with the same machine.
(corn, alfalfa, wheat, potato, sugar beet, carrot… ..) In this way, many plants can be irrigated without changing the irrigation system.
